Lawrence Stubbs - Owner/Secretary/Janitor
Lawrence spent a total of 16 years in the Department of Defense as an active duty enlisted aviator for 12 years, then as a contractor the remaining years. He started working & learning cars in 2002 on his own Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo….a true trial-by-fire. Lawrence is also a graduate of the “Tuner School” program operated by Hennessey Performance Engineering in Sealy, Texas.
After a few years of working cushy cybersecurity contracts within the DoD, what Lawrence decided he really wanted to do was work in a non-air-conditioned southern Florida sweatshop turning ND Miatas into legendary machines.
As such, Sarasota Super Sport Performance was founded in the only place appropriate for such a company, the home of Macho Man Randy Savage…..Sarasota, Florida.
