An old school formula in modern packaging…the Miata SS

There is nothing else like driving one of our V8-powered 4th generation Mazda Miatas. We call it the Miata SS.

We start with Mazda’s 4th generation (aka “ND”) Miata, a GM Performance Parts crate LS3 engine, and the build process works its way outwards from the engine with hundreds of line items on the parts list, supplied by over 50 manufacturers and vendors across the USA, Canada, and Europe.

Build philosophy….

Each Miata SS is made from all-new components wherever possible. The only major component that must be sourced used is the rear differential assembly.

We re-use the differential case, scrap everything inside, and rebuild the internals with new ring & pinion gears, a new helical-gear limited slip differential in place of the clutchpack-style unit, new shims, new seals, and new bearings.

  • New GMPP Crate LS3 V8 Engine

  • New Tremec T-56 Magnum-F (custom geared)

  • Upgraded Chevrolet Camaro SS 1LE Rear Differential

  • Bespoke CV-Axles

  • 5-mode Active Exhaust

  • New OEM GM Clutch and Flywheel

  • New OEM GM Hydraulic Power Steering Rack

  • New Wilwood Front and Rear Brakes

  • New Fox Racing Suspension Coilovers

  • Upgraded Adjustable Front and Rear Swaybars

Optional Add-Ons….

We’ll work with you to customize the car to your tastes. The main options every owner will decide if they want will be a “Hot Cam”, aftermarket steel roll bar (for soft-tops), and Mazdaspeed factory aero appearance kit.

Other add-ons such as dashcams, radar detectors, or other aftermarket items can be installed during the build process typically without issue.
