“DIY” V8 conversion kits now available!!
This is a limited time offer to determine if there is enough demand to warrant producing these in the future. Kits include the custom manufactured components that are not available from the aftermarket, and which you will need in order to perform the conversion….leaving you maximum flexibility in terms of budget and tailoring the rest of your project to your preferences.
Contact us ASAP for all further details. Pricing for a standard kit is $28,900. This offer will be gone after June 2025 if there is not enough interest to move forward.
IMPORTANT: These are NOT comprehensive, all-inclusive, every-last-nut-and-bolt-you-will-need kits.
These kits are not intended to give you everything you will need to build the car to our full spec.
What they are intended to do is give you maximum flexibility to budget and build the car YOUR WAY, while saving you a lot of R&D, time, and money that would otherwise be required to produce the critical custom manufactured components that make the conversion possible to begin with. What is left out of the kits are all the off-the-shelf aftermarket parts that you don’t need to go through us to purchase.
We do not give out full parts lists for cars built to our spec. If you want a car built to our spec, do yourself a massive favor and just order a build slot from us. The last DIY car ran up a $100k+ bill in addition to the price of the car. Seriously, if you think you are going to get the level of fit and finish we deliver at a price point lower than what we offer, you are setting yourself up for a massive heartache.
These kits assume the end user is very well-equipped both in terms of equipment/tools and most importantly, experience. You WILL need to draw on that experience to make all the various ancillary systems work. You WILL need to do significant problem solving. We personally believe if you do not already build custom cars, or at least have a solid background in deep, comprehensive car builds along with access to most of the specialty tools and equipment involved in doing so, then this project is not for you.
That may not be your typical marketing pitch you get from the automotive aftermarket, but we prefer to give it to you straight rather than blow smoke up your you-know-what.

What is included in the standard kit?
Optional rear differential assembly?
We offer rebuilt rear differential assemblies built to the same specification as our client cars.

AC Delco (GM OEM) 3.91:1 ratio ring & pinion gears
Eaton “Detroit TruTrac” helical gear limited slip differential unit
New bearings, shims, seals
68-durometer polyurethane bushings
Is there a “bare-bones” kit?
If you are building a dedicated race-car and have zero use for street car features, everything in the above list in RED font is what you will get in a “bare-bones” kit. The “bare-bones” kit is NOT what you want for a street car. Trust us, you will not end up saving any money by ordering a bare-bones kit for a street car project. This kit is for experienced race car builders who fabricate engine harnesses for fun and are able to tackle any fabrication challenge. This kit is intended to save them time and resources on getting the engine and transmission into the car properly without cutting up the chassis, so they can focus on other areas.
Pricing
Standard kit = $28,900
Optional rear differential assembly = $4300
“Bare-bones” kit = $19,900
Sales tax and shipping/freight not included
What are the core assumptions of the kit?
The kits assume usage of the following:
“LSX” powerplant utilizing “C6” Corvette engine mounts and engine mount brackets
Corvette/CTS-V pulley spacing
5th-generation (2010 - 2015) Chevrolet Camaro OEM steering rack assembly
5th-generation (2010 - 2015) Chevrolet Camaro SS rear differential assembly
5th-generation (2010 - 2015) Chevrolet Camaro SS OEM clutch & flywheel
Tremec T-56 Magnum-F transmission
GM Performance Parts PCM
If you stray from these core assumptions, there is no guarantee the kit will accommodate your decisions!
